SINGLE SESSION COUNSELLING

About

Our single-session counselling service offers 1-3 appointments maximum with a registered clinician, focused on one concern you are currently experiencing. During these appointments, you will develop a plan to best meet your immediate needs.

You are the best person to determine when counselling may be helpful to you. Self-referrals are always accepted. To make the most of your appointment, we encourage you to consider your goals in advance.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations. After 2 consecutive missed appointments (no-shows or same-day cancellations), a 6-month hold will be applied before you are eligible to re-enroll in the service.

This is not a crisis service. If you feel you are in crisis, please call the 24-hour Mental Health Crisis Line 9-8-8, or visit your nearest hospital Emergency Department.

Location & Hours

This service is located at the North Simcoe Family Health Team's main office at 619 Prospect Blvd., Suite 3, in Midland. Appointments occur Monday to Friday. You must register for an appointment, this is not a walk-in clinic. Our team offers appointments in-person, virtually or by telephone.
