GET FIT WHILE YOU SIT: CHAIR-BASED YOGA
This program is centered on linking breath with mindful movements. This gentle form of yoga provides you with the benefits of a "typical yoga practice," while being supported by the use of a chair. Outcomes from the program include: improving posture, range of motion, strength and flexibility, and a reduction in stress and anxiety.
This program is available to individuals who:
Have difficulty getting down to the floor
Experience chronic pain
Are recovering from an injury
Live a sedentary lifestyle
New to yoga
