About

Our Child and Youth Mental Health clinician is committed to providing comprehensive and holistic care for children, adolescents, and their families. The focus is on education, prevention, and early intervention to support positive mental health outcomes.

It's important to note that 70% of mental health concerns begin in childhood or adolescence. Early intervention plays a key role in supporting lifelong mental well-being.

Our team offers:

Assessment by a registered social worker for individuals and families
Brief individual and family therapy (up to 8 sessions)
Facilitation of referrals to community partners
Collaboration with psychiatric services, both in-person and through the Ontario Telemedicine Network

Skill-building groups are offered based participation levels.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for appointment cancellations. After 2 consecutive missed appointments (no-shows or same-day cancellations), a 6-month hold will be applied before you are eligible to re-enroll in the service.

Location & Hours

This service is located at the North Simcoe Family Health Team's main office at 619 Prospect Blvd., Suite 3, in Midland. Appointments occur Monday to Friday. Our team offers appointments in-person, virtually, or by telephone.
