Dear Community Members, We regret to inform you that the COVID-19 Cold and Flu Care Clinic, which is located at the North Simcoe Family Health Team in Midland, will be closing on May 31st, 2023. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funding, we are unable to continue providing this service. As you may be aware, the funding for this clinic and all COVID-19 response funding, came to an end on March 31st, and community partners were able to fund the clinic for an additional two months. We understand the importance of accessible healthcare, and are saddened by this decision. Alternate care options are available in North Simcoe If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath or any other cold and flu-like illnesses, please contact your primary care provider. They will be able to provide guidance on testing, treatment, and any necessary precautions to take.
